Varedo
Varedo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 12,919 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 15 km north of Milan and about 7 km west-northwest of Monza.
Traffic
In Varedo the Strada Statale 527 Bustese from Monza to Oleggio and the Strada Statale 35 Giovi of Milan cruise to Lake Como. The train station of Varedo lies on the line from Milan to Canzo - Asso. Varedo is also connected to the rail network and S-Bahn network of Milan ( Milan - Tranvia Limbiate, S -Bahn lines S2 and S4).
Community partnership
Varedo maintains since 2000 a partnership with the French city of Champagnole in the Jura.
