Variations of the Sega Mega Drive#The Mega Jet and Sega Nomad

The Sega Mega Jet was a handheld version of the Sega Mega Drive, but had no screen and was dependent on a power supply. The device has been used primarily in aircraft from Japan Airlines, because the device could be connected to the screens in the backs. Four games were available during the flight, including Super Monaco GP and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Similarly, the hardware design was the one marketed in the U.S., Sega Nomad, which, however, has an additional built-in screen.
