Variety (magazine)

Variety is (English for diversity) a weekly trade publication of the entertainment industry. Since 2012, the journal of the Penske Media Corporation (PMC ) will be issued.

History and Background

Variety has been published since 1905 and is now an influential companion media of American popular culture. Since 1933, in addition to Daily Variety appears with news from the Showbuzziness. The magazine will be delivered in 84 countries. The website Variety.com has since 1998 also searchable archives, information on international blockbuster, overviews of film and television productions.
