Variorum

Variorum edition is an edition of a literary work in which, in contrast to an " annotated edition " Comments by various authors are included. The term comes from cum notis variorum, Latin for " with remarks of different people ." In a Variorum edition thus different, often conflicting, interpretations of a literary text are documented.
