In botany, the pathways can be distinguished (also vascular bundles ) of vascular plants in xylem and phloem. You run through the entire shoot and transport the water in the leaves and assimilates into the storage organs of the plant. Here, the xylem water and phloem transports the assimilates. Vascular spore plants, angiosperms and gymnosperms differ from one another in the arrangement of these pathways.
