Vasik Rajlich

G. Vasik Rajlich (born 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio ) is an International Master in chess and the developer of Rybka, one of the strongest chess programs in the world.

Rajlich is a dual citizen from birth by the Czech Republic and the United States of America. He was born of Czech parents in the United States, but grew up in Prague. Later, he spent several years in the United States as a student at MIT. Since early 2003, he engaged in chess programming, since mid-2005, he works exclusively on his program Rybka.

In the years 2007, 2008 and 2009, he won with the Rybka Chess960 Computer World Championship at the Chess Classic in Mainz.

His wife Iweta ( born Radziewicz ) carries exactly how Vasik the title of International Master. You can help by testing new versions in the development of Rybka. After the release of Rybka 3 in August 2008, the Rajlichs from the United States have moved to Poland.
