Vasile Maftei

Vasile Maftei ( born January 1, 1981 in Fălticeni ) is a Romanian football player at the position of central defender.

Career

Maftei began his career at Tractorul Brasov, in 2001 he moved to first division club Rapid Bucharest. In his first season the club by third parties and Cup Winners' Cup was Maftei and made ​​his debut at international level ( UEFA Cup ). The following year, the first championship of his career was brought, which could not be repeated in the 2003/04 season with third place. The seasons 2005/ 06 and 2006/ 07 were marked by successes; next to the runner-up title in 2006 and fourth place in 2007 the trophy was brought in two years.

National
