Vasily Pashkevich
Vasily Alexeyevich Paschkewitsch (Russian Василий Алексеевич Пашкевич; * 1742 in Saint Petersburg, .. † 26 Februarjul / March 9 1797greg ibid.) was a Russian composer.
Paschkewitsch worked since 1763 as a violinist and since 1789 as concertmaster of the court orchestra of Saint Petersburg. He also was a member of Hofsängergesellschaft and Hofballdirektor. He wrote a number of comic operas, a Mass and a cappella songs.
