Vasily Zarubin

Vasily Mikhailovich Sarubin (Russian Василий Михайлович Зарубин; * 1894 in Moscow, † 1972) was a Soviet intelligence officer ( 1920-1948 ), including the Perwoje Glawnoje Uprawlenije - dt first headquarters ( PGU ) or NKVD, among others, in Berlin (1934 -1939 ), born as a Czech Jaroslav Kocek, along with his wife Elizabeth Zubilin Rosenzweig, and Washington ( 1941-1944, as Vasily Zubilin ) as an illegal resident ( spymaster ) has been used. In Germany, he stated, inter alia competent in the RSHA for the opposing defense Gestapo officials and SS -Hauptsturmführer Willy Lehmann ( 1884-1942 ).

He was twice awarded the Order of Lenin.
