Vasyl Stefanyk Subcarpathian National University

The National Wassyl - Stefanyk University of Vorkarpaten (Ukrainian Прикарпатський національний університет імені Василя Стефаника / Prykarpatskyj nazionalnyj Uniwersytet imeni Wassylja Stefanyka ) is a university in the city of Ivano -Frankivsk in Ukraine. It is made as an educational institution with its predecessor, the Pedagogical Institute, since 1940. 1992 the establishment of the university was charged. The name refers to the Ukrainian poet and activist Vasyl Stefanyk.
