Vasyugan Swamp

The Wassjuganje is a moor landscape in the West Siberian Lowlands in Russia. It lies between the rivers Ob and Irtysh, is the headwaters of the eponymous river and its tributary Wassjugan Tschischapka and goes to the south across the Barabasteppe.

In addition, in the Wassjuganje swamps have the Ob- tributaries Parbig, parable (with its headwaters Kjonga and Tschusik ) and Big Jugan, the Irtysh tributaries Om, Tara, Ui and Demjanka and the south flowing into the endorheic basin of Tschanysees Kargat their origin.
