Vehicle-activated sign

A speed warning system (short GWA ) is a technical device on the roadside, which serves to alert the driver in case of excessive driving speed to a speed limit in force. A sensor the driving speed is detected and when exceeding a defined amount the appropriate traffic signs light up. These systems do not serve the traffic monitoring and are not to be confused with speed indicator plants.
