Veinticinco de Mayo Department, Chaco

The department Veinticinco de Mayo is located in the center of Chaco Province in northwestern Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north and west by the Libertador General San Martín, on the east by the departments Sargento Cabral and Presidencia de la Plaza, on the south by the Departamento Tapenagá and to the west by the departments of San Lorenzo and Quitilipi.

The capital of the department Veinticinco de Mayo is Machagai. It is located 120 kilometers from the provincial capital Resistencia and 1140 km from Buenos Aires.
