Velenjak

Velendschak (also Velenjak ) (Persian ولنجک ) is a neighborhood in Shimran District in northwestern Tehran. It is located near the Totschāl ski area and is known for its beautiful scenery, mild climate, fresh mountain air, its sources and its game.

Due to its popularity, the district is usually very crowded on Fridays and crowded.

Many embassies are located here, such as the Brunei, Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Serbia and Montenegro, Algeria and some more.

In Velendschak is also home to the Shahid Beheshti University of Medicine.
