Velletri

Velletri is an Italian medium-sized town in the Alban Hills, about 40 kilometers south-east of Rome, with 52,770 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012). It is the seat of a bishopric suburbicarian.

Location

The city is located on a spur of Mount Artemision. It is one of the municipalities of the Castelli Romani.

History
