Venezuela at the 2008 Summer Olympics
Venezuela took at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing for the 16th time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The Venezuelan delegation consisted of 108 athletes, 51 female athletes and 57 athletes, the largest groups were doing the volleyball teams of men and women and the softball team. In individual sports featured floats with 13 participants, the largest contingent. Dalia Contreras won the only medal, the eleventh in the Olympic history of Venezuela.
Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the softball player María Soto.
