Vengeance (band)

Vengeance was a Dutch rock band led by singer Leon Geowie, which was founded in 1982. It was characterized mainly by a very positive attitude to life. 1984 Vengeance of Derk Joling, the former A & R manager of CBS Records, was discovered at a concert and contracted. The first album, and especially the first single brought the band national success.

Despite joyful optimism there was controversy within the band and they broke up in 1989 for the first time on. Later they came back together, but Leon Geowie left the band again, and with his successor Ian Perry Vengeance were unable to continue the old results.

Reunion

2006 Vengeance came together again and took with Back in the ring, the first album in nine years on. On the following tour they played among other things, on the Balinger " Bang Your Head" Festival. During the tour, a live album was recorded, which was published in 2007. In early 2009 appeared Soul Collector.
