Venson Hamilton

Shad Venson Hamilton ( born August 11, 1977 in Forest City ) is an American professional basketball player. His positions are those of the power forwards or centers.

Career

Venson Hamilton began his career at the University of Nebraska, with this he was in the 1998-99 season for the Big 12 Conference player of the year selected. When NBA Draft 1999, he was engaged by the Houston Rockets (No. 50), but Hamilton moved to Italy, the Lega Basket Serie A, where he played one season for Record Napoli. After half a year in Poland, Prokom Trefl when he returned to Italy, and played the second half of the season for the zweitdivisionär Banco Popolare Ragusa. The ensuing season, he was again in the Lega Basket Serie A, with Sinteco Ferrara under contract before 2002 in the Spanish LEB to Unelco Tenerife, went, with whom he achieved promotion to the ACB league. 2003-04 he managed the same with Lagun Aro Bilbao with Joventut Badalona after which it undertook. After a season with the Catalans, he joined the then reigning champions Real Madrid, with whom he won the ULEB Cup and the Spanish Cup in 2006 /07.

Hamilton married in 2003 a Spaniard, and since then also has the citizenship of that country.
