Venus of Monruz

The Venus of Monruz (including Venus de Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel Venus - Monruz ) is a Stone Age Venusfigurine and with an age of about 15,000 years to the Magdalenian sorted. It consists of jet and is about 1.8 cm long. The figurine is made as a pendant and is the Venusfigurinen from St. Peter's rock so similar that is even speculated that the same artist has created these works of art. The two localities Monruz ( Switzerland ) and Peter rock at Engen ( Germany ) are separated by only about 130 km.
