Veraudunus

Veraudunus was a Celtic god of the field of Treverians. He is attested in two inscriptions from Widdenberg in Luxembourg, where it is called with Inciona. Therefore, one can assume that she was his companion. Also still Lenus is mentioned on a bronze votive offering, although it is not entirely clear whether Veraudunus is used as a nickname or whether both were seen as separate gods.

It may be that Veraudunus was seen as personalized Widdenberg, who then may bore the same name. But would speaking, from the Gallo * vero- dunon an etymological derivation, ie " Great fortified hill ', ie the same origin as that of the French towns called Verdun.
