Verband Bayerischer Amateurtheater

The Bayerischer amateur theater eV office in Rosenheim in 1923 under the name " Bavarian Association People's Game Art - eV Association of Bavarian Theatre Club - cultural community for Folk Art and Education " founded. The association has grown steadily from 79 member stage (1975) 101 (1977), 127 (1979), 163 (1981), 196 (1983), 254 (1987), 330 (1991), 410 (1995), 449 (1998). currently serves on 570 platforms in 2004 and represents the association 587 amateur and amateur theaters in three regional groups - Upper Bavaria ( with Lower Bavaria and parts of the upper Palatinate ), Swabia and Northern Bavaria (Franconia with northern Bavaria) - making it the largest state association in the covenant German amateur Theatre Association. renaming the current Association names was in 1995.

The association is funded by the Free State of Bavaria. Together with the staggered by stage members contributions to the members the following services may be disclosed to:

  • Education and training for players, directors, technicians and makeup artists;
  • Seminars on, club - and tax issues as well as management and public relations;
  • Insurance coverage;
  • Own literature;
  • Free subscription of appearing three times a year association magazine " Bayerischer Theatre Mirror" (since 1985)
  • Grants for theatrical sets and play matches at home and abroad.
