Verdiso
Verdiso is an indigenous white grape from the north of Italy. It is typically grown in the area around the towns of Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto and Asolo. It is licensed in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region. In 1999, an area under vines of 357 hectares has been charged.
The late-ripening variety is growing strong and profitable. However, it is susceptible to the raw rot. The straw-colored fresh white wines find their way into DOC - Wine Colli di Conegliano.
