Verdun-sur-le-Doubs

Verdun- sur -le- Doubs is a commune with 1144 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Saône -et -Loire in the Burgundy region. It belongs to the district of Chalon- sur -Saône and is the capital of the canton of the same name.

Outside the town is the confluence of the rivers Saône and Doubs.
