Vergi

Vergi a village ( küla ) in the municipality Vihula is Lääne -Viru county. Vergi located in the north of Estonia, right on the Gulf of Finland, on the eastern shore of the Vergi Peninsula, about 10 km from Võsu. The village has 107 inhabitants (as of 2006).

In Vergi were in the 19th and early 20th century produced smaller sailing ships. Today, the port was opened in the summer of 1977 serves as a popular destination for sailors and tourists. The beaches, the forests and the pristine natural environment of the Baltic Sea are ideal for hiking and nature observation.
