The Vermilion Parish (French: Paroisse de Vermilion ) is a parish located in the state of Louisiana in the United States. In the census in 2010, the Parish had 57 999 inhabitants and a population density of 19.1 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( Parish Seat) is Abbeville.

The Parish is located in southern Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico and has an area of ​​3984 square kilometers, of which 944 square kilometers are water surface.
