Vernon Davis

Vernon Leonard Davis ( born January 31, 1984 in Washington, DC) is an American professional American football player at the position of tight ends. He plays for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League ( NFL).

Davis was selected in the first round as the sixth player in the NFL Draft in 2006 by the San Francisco 49ers. Previously, he played college football at the University of Maryland.
