Vernon Fiddler

Vernon Fiddler ( born May 9, 1980 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2011 with the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Vernon Fiddler began his career as a hockey player with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League, for which he played from 1997 to 2000. He then moved for a year to their league rivals Medicine Hat Tigers. On 31 May 2001, the Arkansas River Blades committed from the East Coast Hockey League the attacker gave him, however, already August 11 in exchange for Calvin Elfring at Roanoke Express from. In the 2001 / 02 season, the Canadians also came in the American Hockey League for the Norfolk Admirals to use and was voted All- Rookie team in the ECHL.

On 6 May 2002, the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League undertook Fiddler as a free agent without the latter was ever drafted. For the Predators, he regularly plays since in the NHL. On 1 July 2009 he signed as a free agent contract with the Phoenix Coyotes. Two years later, Fiddler received a contract for three years with the Dallas Stars.
