Véronique De Keyser

Véronique De Keyser ( born March 23, 1945 in Brussels) is a Belgian psychologist and university lecturer. Since 2001 she is a member of the European Parliament for the Parti Socialiste (PS).

Life

De Keyser studied psychology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB ) and completed her studies in 1968 with a master's from. In 1974, a doctorate in the field of industrial psychology on " Approche psychologique de l' expérience à travers les systèmes ouvrière ". De Keyser research at the ULB and the Center for Industrial Research and Studies in Brussels and in 1984 he received a teaching position at the University of Liege, where she was appointed professor in 1988. From 1990 to 1998 she was Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Liège. As a visiting professor, she worked at the Universities of Porto, Moscow and Toulouse- Le Mirail.

De Keyser had 1990 chaired the Belgian Psychological Society until 1994. She is also a member of the Board since 1995, the King Baudouin Foundation, since 1997 Member of the High Council for Employment and since 1997 Chairman of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology.

2001 De Keyser was elected to the European Parliament. She is a member of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament and of the Development Committee, the Committee on Human Rights and in the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. Deputy is De Keyser in the Delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
