Veselin Popović

Veselin Popović ( born July 1, 1975 in Vrbas, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian footballer, who stood in the 2007/ 08 season with Sportfreunde Siegen in the German Regionalliga Süd under contract.

Popović played as a teenager at Obilić and OFK Belgrade. In Germany, the center forward was for the FSV Zwickau (until 1999), Dynamo Dresden (1999 /2000), FC Erzgebirge Aue (2000/ 01 ), 1 FC Schweinfurt 05 (2002 to 2004), and Wacker Burghausen (2004 to 2006) active, before joining SV labor. For Schweinfurt and Burghausen he was 24 times in the second division in action, but he scored four goals. After the descent and insolvency of Siegen Sportfreunde Popović left the club.
