Vésztő is a city on a small area Szeghalom in southeastern Hungary.

Geography

For a part of its territory, the Sebes Körös ( Fast Screaming ) acts as a natural boundary.

History

The first written mention as Vejzetheu / Vejszető dates from the year 1350.
