Vibrasphere

Vibrasphere is a progressive psytrance duo from Uppsala in Sweden. It consists of Berglöf Rickard and Robert Elster.

History

Vibrasphere began her musical career in the mid nineties. Rickards career flourished in the new trance scene as a member of the group Subcouds and about the same time Robert took his first musical steps on his Amiga. After the two had met on Rickards younger cousin, she decided in 1998 to go into the studio together. So the band was born.

However, the constant trips took its toll of Robert and a half years after the release of their second album Lime Structure, he decided to leave the band. Rickard made ​​on alone, on tour and in the studio, however, won his personal development in significance and the days of Vibrasphere seemed numbered.

In 2005, Robert, however, the band decided to join again, but let Rickard continue to take the tours. His return to the studio set, with the 2006 released album Archipelago, represents the return to the musical beginnings of Vibrasphere

In 2006, the two with several publications as a duo back into the business. The EP Landmark EP, which was released in March this year, was a preview of the third album Archipelago. Just as every archipelago consists of numerous islands of various size and shape, their goal was to create a complex album with a central theme.

2007 appeared the fourth album Exploring the Tributaries in which the transitions between Progressive, Trance and House are quite fluent, while it also contains dub, downbeat and ambient tracks.

On 11 December 2008, the fifth album Lungs of Life was released on CD and as a USB stick with bonus tracks, photos and remixes.

Vibrasphere gave the end of 2010 that they will dissolve. The live performances that are scheduled until May 2011, but are yet to take place.
