As an internal vibrator (also vibrator or pokers ) is called a device for compacting fresh concrete with the help of vibration.

Simple terms, an internal vibrator from the drive motor ( electric motor, combustion engine, compressed air or hydraulic drive medium ), the flexible drive shaft of different length and at the end of the vibrator. The vibrator is a flywheel (also called imbalance), which puts the vibrator into a mechanical vibration. The vibrator is dipped in the fresh concrete to transmit the vibrations to the concrete. By the mechanical vibration of the concrete is compressed, the escape of trapped air is facilitated. The counterpart to the internal vibrator is the vibrator.
