Victor Buono

Victor Buono ( born February 3, 1938 in San Diego, † January 1, 1982 in Apple Valley, California ) was an American actor in film and television.

Life

Buono debuted with 18 years on the stage and then came over appearances in television series and the movie. He had his life set to the image of the fate pursued, simple-minded young city dweller; his enormous stature underlined the awkwardness of these roles.

His first international success, he really celebrated with What Happened to Baby Jane? and Lullaby for a dead body, two classics of the horror film each with Bette Davis in the lead role. The genre of the fantastic film also coined Buonos further film work, however, were not enough for the future, usually cheap manufactured productions of his first successes zoom. Among his screen partners, among others belonged the former Dracula cast of Universal Studios, John Carradine.

On television, he also acted in series with, inter alia, in The Man from Atlantis, the end of the 60s in Batman (TV series ) or in series classics 77 Sunset Strip as " Victor Traymund ". In addition, Buono had episode appearances on numerous television series.

Buono died of a heart attack.
