Victor Murdock

Victor Murdock ( born March 18, 1871 in Burlingame, Osage County, Kansas, † July 8, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas ) was an American politician. Between 1903 and 1907 he represented the seventh and 1907-1915 the eighth election district of the state of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Already in 1872, came with his parents to Victor Murdock Wichita. There he attended the public schools and the Lewis Academy. He then began a career at the press. Until 1891 he worked as a reporter for the newspaper Wichita Eagle. Then he moved to Chicago, where he also worked as a newspaper reporter 1891-1894. After his return to Wichita, he was from 1894 to 1903 managing editor of the newspaper Daily Eagle. From 1895 to 1897 he was also employed in the management of a Court of Appeal.

As of 1902, re-elected Congressman Chester I.
