Victor Sydorenko

Viktor Sidorenko Dmitrowitsch Ukrainian Віктор Дмитрович Сидоренко lives ( born December 31, 1953 in Taldyqorghan, Kazakhstan) and works as an artist in Ukraine. There he is member of the Association of Ukrainian artist and lecturer at the Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

Life

1974-1979 he completed the study of applied arts of the Kharkiv Institute. 1979-1985 he has worked as Assistant Professor at the Kharkiv Institute of Applied Arts. 1985-1988 he made a dissertation in the field of artistic studies of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. In 2003 he had a part in the 50th Venice Biennale.

Work

Born in 1953 in Ukraine, he completed a traditional training in painting at the Kharkiv Institute of Applied Arts (Professor BV Kosarev ) and later at the Academy of Arts of the USSR and undergoes a far-reaching development of the different transition periods of Ukrainian art.

His work can be considered as an intermediary between modern and contemporary art, which move on the exciting line between two periods and find a transition that makes it available are present in their immense power. During his artistic work he is professor at the Institute of Applied Arts working in Kharkiv and founded in 2001 the Modern Research Institute of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine since 2002 and is also a professor of Kharkiv Academy of Art and Design.

Resistant personal work associated with official projects, a way of working, which also reflects the philosophical point of his works. Sidorenko's works are mostly the coexistence of society and the individual dedicated, but also deal with the general structures and mechanisms that affect the people in his life and determine, consciously and unconsciously, without that he could escape this. The most important part of his work " Millstones of Time ", which in 2003 found at the Biennale in Venice extraordinary recognition is the process of work itself. With this work, he has created a multi-layered work, which enables all visual media connecting with each other to make the process of time in human life significantly.
