Víctor Vázquez

Víctor Vázquez Solsona ( born January 20, 1987 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish football player. The attacking midfielder was trained in the youth academy of FC Barcelona and plays of the season 2011/12 for FC Bruges.

Career

Vázquez was taken at the age of ten years in the youth academy of FC Barcelona. Vázquez went through the various youth teams of FC Barcelona and came in 2005 to FC Barcelona C, then the third reserve team of Barcelona. A year later he rose to the second team, where he was able to quickly establish itself as a regular player. His first and only league appearance for the first team, he played in 2008, when he came on Matchday 32 of the 2007/08 season for Santiago Ezquerro in the match against Recreativo Huelva. In the same year Vázquez was in the Champions League group match against Shakhtar Donetsk ( 2:3 ) on the grid. He was, however, continues to be used mainly in the B- team. With Barcelona B he made in the 2009/10 season the rise in the Segunda División, the second Spanish top flight.

In the season 2010/11 he took over the captaincy of the Omonia Nicosia migrated to José Manuel Rueda. In the last group game of the UEFA Champions League 2010/ 11, against the Russian club Rubin Kazan Vázquez contributed the hit in a 2-0 draw.

In summer 2011, Vázquez joined free transfer to FC Bruges, where he wrote for three seasons.
