Victoria Abril
Victoria Abril ( born July 4, 1959 in Madrid; actually Victoria Mérida Rojas ) is a Spanish actress.
Life
Abril began her film career in 1975 in Spain as a teenager. You made numerous films in France and Italy. The multi-award -winning actress is regarded as one of Europe's best actresses, as she was awarded at the Berlinale Silver Bear in 1991 and for her contribution to the Berlin International Film Festival at the Berlinale 1993, the Berlinale Camera. Between 1987 and 2002 she was eight times nominated for the Goya for Best Actress and received the award in 1996. Besides her work as an actress, she appeared in particular in the 70s in the Spanish television as a presenter of game shows on.
Once in Spain, she released several singles already in the 70s, followed in 2005 by her first music album Putcheros do Brasil, on which she interprets Spanish and French chansons.
She was married twice and has two sons, Martin and Félix.
