Victoria (carriage)

Victoria is the name for a type of carriage. It goes back to the well-known British car maker Cooper, who is said to have 1869 on the occasion of the withdrawal of the British Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales created this type of car. Since then, a lord was called ( the classic lord had a solid mount for the driver ) with a slight, usually removable wagon seat, which was usually attached to an iron rod, Victoria. However, there had been car earlier in Paris, which were also known as Victoria carriage.

In the early days of automobiles and motor vehicles with bodies of this type when Victoria ( or English. Victoria) were described, such as the Electric Viktoria von Siemens, or Riker Electric Victoria.
