Victoria Chick

Victoria Chick ( * 1936 in Berkeley, California) is an Emeritus Professor of Economics, University College London ( UCL). Her main research area is the monetary policy and Keynesian economic theory.

Life

Victoria Chick studied at the London School of Economics, where she later taught. Professionally, she worked for the Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In the winter semester 2000/2001 Victoria Chick was a guest professor of the Deutsche Bundesbank at the Free University of Berlin.
