Viedma Glacier

The Viedma Glacier is a large outlet glaciers, which is fed from the Campo de Hielo Sur- ice cap at the southern tip of South America. The glacier is located in the Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia, Argentina, who was appointed in 1981 to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The two- mile-wide glacier front moränenreiche empties into Lake Viedma, which is fed primarily by the melt waters of the Viedma Glacier. The 35 -kilometer Viedma Glacier is one of 48 Auslassgletschern the Campo de Hielo Sur- ice cap covers an area of approximately 575 km ².
