Vienna is a town in Fairfax County, in the State of Virginia, 15 kilometers west of Washington, DC. According to Money magazine, an American financial magazine, the city was in 2005 on the 4th place of American cities where you can live best.

History

Perhaps the first inhabitants on the today's city was the settlers Colonel Charles Broadwater, a well-known soldier of the British colonial forces and landowner, who built his home here.

The town was originally called Ayr Hill and was renamed only in the late 1850s in Vienna.
