The Vierbach rises in the southeast part of the nature park Meissner Kaufunger forest on the eastern flank of the High Meissner ( 753.6 m above sea level. NN ). Your source is located west of Germerode, a municipality part of Meissen, at about 430 m above sea level. NN.

Initially, the Vierbach, the natural park flows leaving east to Germerode from where she turns on along the country road 3243 to the southeast.
