Vigdis HÃ¥rsaker

Vigdis Hårsaker (born 16 July 1981) is a former Norwegian handball player who last played in the Norwegian first division Byåsen IL.

Hårsaker started playing handball at Sjetne IL and moved to IL Byåsen later. After she was then active for the French club Toulon VAR HB ASCM, they returned to Byåsen. After Hårsaker in the 2002/03 season with 200 hits won the scoring crown of the Norwegian Elite Series, she moved to Larvik HK. With Larvik she won the 2005 European Cup Winners' Cup. In the same year, the left-hander moved again to Byåsen IL. 2007 was Hårsaker with Byåsen in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, failed here, however, the Romanian club CS Râmnicu Vâlcea. In the 2009/10 season, she was also assistant coach at Byåsen addition to their player activity.

Hårsaker completed 133 appearances for the Norwegian team. With the Norwegian selection they won the 2004 European Championship. 2001 and 2007 she became vice world champion.
