Viimsi Parish

Viimsi is a rural municipality in Harju County Estonia with an area of 72.8 km ². It has 10,830 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2005).

In addition to the main town Viimsi ( 2338 inhabitants) belong to the municipality the villages Haabneeme ( 3163 inhabitants), Leppneeme (309) Lubja ( 467 ) Laiaküla (191) Miiduranna ( 466 ) Muuga (307) Pringi ( 878 ) Pärnamäe ( 438) Püünsi ( 1033 ) Randvere ( 879 ) Rohuneeme ( 438) Tammneeme (337), Äigrumäe (122) Kelvingi (389), Metsakasti (314) and Naissaare (10).

Within the Municipality of the Islands also belong Naissaar (1890 ha), Prangli (650 ha) and the smaller islands Aksi, Tiirlood, Keri, Kräsuli, Seinakari, Kumbli and Pandju the Gulf of Finland.

The landscape around the peninsula Viimsi, the picturesque Baltic Sea coast and the numerous ports invite many sea lovers to visit the community.
