Viktor Mikhaylovich Zimin

Viktor Mikhailovich Simin ( born August 23, 1962 at Rajon Krasnoturansk, Krasnoyarsk region, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian politician and currently President of the Government of the Republic of Khakassia, and deputy of the Russian State Duma.

Training and employment

Viktor Zimin visited the school in the village Katanowo ( Rajon Askis, Khakassia ). In 1982 he completed a course of training at an agricultural college, then contributed his military service in the Soviet Army.

Later Simin worked at the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Soviet railroad and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian Railways.

Political activity

In the parliamentary elections on December 2, 2007 Simin was elected on the list of United Russia party in the State Duma.

On 8 December 2008, he was by the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as President of the Government (ie President ) of the Republic of Khakassia nominated. The Supreme Council of the Republic of Khakassia approved the nomination on 10 December 2008.

Viktor Zimin is chairman of the Khakassian section of the Kremlin United Russia party.
