Viktor Paskov

Viktor Paskow (also Wiktor Paskow written; Bulgarian Виктор Пасков; born September 10, 1949 in Sofia, † 16 April 2009 ( according to other data April 17 ) in Bern, Switzerland ) was a Bulgarian writer and musician.

He studied at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. After graduating in 1976, he remained for a further four years in East Germany, where he performed as a jazz musician and opera singer. In 1980 he returned to Bulgaria, where he worked among other things as a screenwriter. From 2002 to 2004 he headed the Bulgarian cultural center in Berlin.

In 2005 he was awarded the Literature Prize for his work Helikon Autopsija na edna ljubov (German Autopsy of a Love).
