Vilém Heš

Willy Hesch ( born July 3, 1860 in Elbeteinitz, Bohemia, † January 4, 1908 in Vienna ) was an Austrian actor and opera singer ( bass).

Hesch, a farmer's son, was the first member of migratory theater companies, then came 1880 to the Czech National Theatre in Prague and worked here until he occasionally noticed in 1892 a guest performance at the International Exhibition Theatre in Vienna as " Kezal " in The Bartered Bride, and brought him Pollini to Hamburg, where he remained several years. Hesch is buried in an honorary grave dedicated to the Baumgartner Cemetery (Group 15, number 1) in Vienna. In 1955 in Vienna Penzing and Ottakring ( 14th and 16th district) of Heschweg was named after him.
