Villa Emo

The Villa Emo is Fanzolo di Vedelago, Treviso, Italy.

The villa was commissioned by Leonardo Emo 1564 Andrea Palladio in order. The building combines in its functionality the economic need of the farm of the Emo family with the amenities of a country estate of a wealthy owner.

A wide ramp leading to the main building with a portico of four columns tuskischen, the agricultural terms emphasize its simplicity. Sideways close the right and left wings of flat economy, with simple pillared arcades. At the end there are two dovecotes.

The interiors of the piano nobile have been painted by Giambattista Zelotti with magnificent frescoes. The garden, in the style of giardino italiana book with cut borders around the flower beds in geometric shapes, decorated with numerous statues.

The villa is owned by a regional bank and is used as a training center. The state rooms can be visited on the opening times.
