Villa Krause

Villa Krause is an Argentine town in the heart of the San Juan province in the Valle del Tulum south of the city of San Juan.

The city is the capital and seat of government of the department of Rawson. It counts 108,000 inhabitants (2001) and lies at an altitude of 650 m above sea level. NN.

The recorded its roots in the engineering Domingo Krause, a Domingo Faustino Sarmiento's adopted son, going back and named after Augusto Krause city, despite their desert climates, a rapid population growth. The city rights it has got only 1983.
