Villaba, Leyte

Villalba is a Philippine municipality in the province of Leyte on Leyte Island. It has 38 819 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 35 barangays. The community is described as partly urban and belongs to the third income class municipalities in the Philippines. Your neighboring municipalities are Tabango in the north, the east and Kananga MATAG - whether in the south. In the west the municipality borders against the Camotes Sea to the island of Cebu.

In the village there is a campus of the Visayas State University.
